The rashists did not take Bakhmut by February 24, as brutally and foaming at the mouth Putin wanted, although they attacked there with huge troops of all types, without the space ones, and although in some places the numerical ratio of forces is 4:1 and even 5 :1.
But if they take it over (as they intend to in the next 4-5 days) at the cost of many thousands of "negatively selected soldiers", then what? This is neither Stalingrad nor Kursk...
The sad thing is that even in Russia, if Bakhmut is taken, there will be no particular joy – there they already understand that the war is a dead end, that it is draining the vital forces of the country and there is no light at the end of the tunnel. But Bulgarian rashists will go crazy with happiness. They have more illusions and this prevents them from seeing the truth.
And the truth is that the entire Russian organism – governmental, economic, financial, social – is beginning to rot and rot. The process of decay had already begun before February 24 of last year, but the War accelerated it, removing some natural mechanisms to slow it down.
It is time for the West to start worrying not about how to save Putin's face, but how to stop the collapse of Russian Feudalization!
Whatever may be said about the intentions of the West, the fact is that at the beginning of the Transition the West tried to save – in vain! (it is not saved where it is unsalvageable) the collapse of the Soviet Union.
Remember how on August 1, 1991 in Kiev, the American President George Bush-father uttered a " chicken "
[chicken – there was a play on words here with the meal he was served]
speech – precisely as a desperate attempt to save the Soviet Union.
Let's also remember that the West made Ukraine, along with Belarus and Kazakhstan, unconditionally hand over their nuclear weapons to Russia!
[Personal and lyrical digression:
Then, to the deputies of the Parliamentary Assemblies of NATO and the WEU, I allowed myself to express my point of view that this was a gross mistake, but not because I understood at that time at least a little of the great geopolitics, but only from common sense, knowing the hooligan foreign policy mentality of Moscow and sympathizing in human terms with Ukraine.
But the MPs from the NATO and the WEU countries looked at me condescendingly – who am I and what is the meaning of some personal opinion of some Bulgarian MP, even if he is the head of the Bulgarian delegations in the Parliamentary Assemblies of NATO and the WEU...]
And the West should already be worried about the rotting process of Russian Feudalization that has begun, because instead of one mentally ill coward in the Kremlin with a nuclear weapon, we may find ourselves face to face with a dozen local chieftains with private armies and arsenals of Weapons of Mass Destruction.
In Russia at the moment, everyone who has at least 1 billion dollars, or very serious power, is starting to create their own private army. Soon their number may become 50, even 100, even 150. Because a murky and bloody war for Putin's political and financial legacy is ahead.
In a smart book it is written which people succeed the most. They are two categories.
The first category are those who can endure, not lose heart, grit their teeth, not give up until the end.
The second category are those who know how to give up on the venture in time, because they feel that it is doomed, because they are aware that nothing good will come of it and it is only a waste of time, nerves, efforts and illusions.
In some realistic sense, there are two similar scenarios facing Russian Feudalization at the moment.
The first scenario is Long Agony.
The process of the rotting of Russian Feudalization continues as if without limit in time, the disintegration of the structures starts both from above in the state and from below in society. When those above don't want and can't, and those below can't and don't want either. Something similar to the collapse of the Soviet Union.
The second scenario is Rapid Collapse.
We wake up one morning and hear on the radio and television that Putin has been deposed and perhaps even liquidated, a provisional government has been installed and it has ordered Russian troops throughout Ukraine to unilaterally cease fire, and is addressing Ukraine, the West and China for urgent peace negotiations.
