Qualitatively new challenges and risks, the Covid pandemic, the criminal and cruel war of the rashists against Ukraine, tectonic shifts and upheavals in global, continental, regional and national politics dealt a catastrophic blow not only to the world order, but also to many intellectual-analytical prophets, authorities, gurus and capacities, constantly, constantly, ceaselessly and tirelessly marching, cheering and appearing in all kinds of media: such as the great Henry Kissinger, Joseph Stiglitz, Paul Krugman, John Mearsheimer and a number of others, as well as our Ivan Krastev.
These eminent minds and consciences of the age have irreparably failed as the ideological pillars of the West because they continue to explain the world in an egocentric, simplistic, inertial, traditional, retrograde, even somewhat reactionary way – with old dogmas and whit models that no longer work, and with their irresistible inadequacy in understanding of dynamic, complex and multivariate processes.
None of what they predicted came true. And even worse for them – nothing that they are now prophesying touches in a reliable way the meaning, essence and content of what is happening. Therefore, their regular predictions will not come true this time either.
I think – how the World, the West, the USA and Europe miss Zbigniew Brzezinski! The Big Zbig would not have gone bankrupt - I'd like to believe it - like the above specialists in geostrategy, geopolitics, geoeconomics, geoenergy and geo-blah-blah-blah-itics.
