The West is not what it used to be.
The West is still not what it should be.
But we have no other West.
The West today lacks Churchill, but has an oversupply of Chamberlains.
And if we paraphrase Churchill:
The West will make the right decision after trying all the others.
The West is doing what is necessary, thank God, so that Ukraine does not lose, but, alas, not doing enough so that Ukraine wins...
We have no choice but to breathe deeply through clenched teeth and tell ourselves that nothing is as bad as it seems, although it is not as good as we would like it to be...
Let's call a spade a spade.
A number (not including Finland and Sweden) of the last NATO members did not fulfill these conditions, which they now impose on Ukraine.
Who Macedonia? Albania? Slovakia? Hungary? Or Bulgaria - with terrible corruption and full of Russian agents?
The conditions that Ukraine allegedly does not meet are very important. But they are arrangements, they are occasions, not reasons.
In fact, it is paradoxical, but the following can be said:
It is not that Ukraine is not ready for NATO membership, but NATO is not ready for Ukraine's NATO membership.

Systematized are the leading properties of the Network – a fundamental scientific category and an essential phenomenon in complex social systems as we enter a qualitatively new society, which, in addition to being Globalized, Postmodern, Risk, is also Network; namely, the Network Society reflects a systemic-structural dimension of the transformation of our world – its architecture and its networking, the gradual transition from vertical to horizontal organization of systems, structures and institutions.
Like many others, I am constantly listening to a number of pro-Ukrainian commentators. But recently I stopped following some of them (for example Yulia Latynina, but not only her).
It is striking that most of them talk, talk, talk continuously and several times a day... I wonder - when do they think?
All of us who are humanly moved and feel strongly about Ukraine always feel pain and sorrow when we learn about another bombing of a Ukrainian city, when we watch footage of the destruction, when we see pictures of dead or maimed children... But in some completely natural and understandable way , our concerns about Ukraine are fragmented and sometimes overshadowed by our other concerns. Well, our life has not stopped here – with our Bulgarian upheavals and with our individual joys and tribulations. There are football passions, summer is coming at sea, we have sharp political quarrels, all sorts of other excitements and emotions...
