The completely unprovoked and unprecedentedly barbaric war of rashism continues, although winter inevitably slows down some of its operations.
There is increasing talk of a new offensive by the rashists, although it is quite possible that the new offensive will not be by the rashists, but by the brave Ukrainian armed forces.

For me, there is no doubt who will win and who will lose the war in the end.
But it is sad and bitter that the war is beginning to take on a chronic character, that it is dragging on, that new thousands and thousands of people are dying or receiving severe injuries and disabilities of varying degrees.
And if after death everyone is equal, then before death there is no equality and cannot be. There is not and cannot be equality between those who selflessly defend their fatherland and those who are sent as cannon fodder to fulfill the insane will of a repulsive and disgusting dictator.

Yes, the war is already chronicling; yes, alas, it is dragging on... The war can last up to two years.
The question of questions is whether it will last up to two years from its start on February 24 or whether it will last up to two years starting from today.

In this war we are witnessing several principled, uncompromising, comprehensive and with strategically dimensions conflicts:
between Time and Space;
between Quantity and Quality;
between Coercion and Will;
between Hierarchy and Network.

■ The first of these conflicts is the conflict between Time and Space.

Rashism has already made Time its ally.
Rashists strive for only one thing – to drag out, to delay, to slow down, to prolong the war, to gain Time and to win through Time. According to their calculations, Time is an absolutely reliable ally for them. The aggressors hope that the endless continuation of the war will tire the West and especially Europe, will cause unacceptable damage to Western and especially to European public opinion, and all this will weaken Western and especially European solidarity with Ukraine, and President Zelensky will be forced to start negotiations, accompanied by certain (they were inevitable, you see) territorial concessions.

Ukrainians are fighting for their Space, for their vital, living Space.
They are compacting this precious and, moreover, priceless Space of theirs with patriotism, with self-sacrifice, with human lives, with an impossibility – with each passing day of this treacherous war against them – with an unbearable and impermissible impossibility to accept concessions even on a tiny part of their treasure, innermost Ukrainian Space. Space is their strategic ally, their mobilizing resource, their raison d'être, their only possible and lofty purpose.
Unfortunately, in the World History, when Time and Space collided, Time most often prevailed. Time as an absolute value is inherently inexhaustible, unlimited. Space is inherently exhaustible, limited.
Let us fervently pray to God, believing with our hearts, souls and minds, that the glorious Ukrainian people will refute this insanely unfair and infinitely unbearable Historical Truth and this time, finally, Space will defeat Time!

■ The second of these conflicts is the conflict between Quantity and Quality.

Rashists are fighting based on Quantity – from the very beginning of this damned war, I have been pointing out this destructive, anti-human specificity of theirs.
Compared to Ukraine, rashism has an almost inexhaustible supply of cannon fodder and old, since the 60s, weapons, missiles, ammunition and other means capable of causing some degree of destruction and suffering. Rashist top and field commanders do not take into account anything and do not reckon with anything – they throw into the jaws, into the furnace of war everything that can be somehow used in it, they cause countless suffering to the civilian population of Ukraine and numerous destruction to the critical infrastructure of the Ukrainian state. Even what in some of the settlements they recently occupied, could serve for emergency medical care, for serious surgical operations, for sick children, for women in childbirth, for the most basic needs of medical teams and auxiliary personnel, if the Rashists could not steal and drag it – they just destroyed it so it could no longer be used.

At the same time, Ukraine is fighting based on Quality.
Quality - as a way of fighting, as training of fighters, as a relationship between higher and lower ranks, as care for the environment, including even for animals in zoos.
The Ukrainian armed forces behave in a European way, even when it comes to life and death. Yes, they are by no means perfect people, but there are standards – standards of culture, hygiene, ethics, appearance, below which Ukrainians can no longer and do not want to fall. One can quite often observe shocking pictures that make it possible to compare military personnel in similar places in the hierarchy – Ukrainians are indistinguishable from their European counterparts – you look at them and understand that almost none of the humiliations and abominations associated with military service in Soviet times has remained. And the rashists are like those caught from the forest, like barefoot beggars and bearded robbers, a grotesque appearance, shabby uniforms, bloodshot eyes, noses reddened from alcohol. Although the two countries only a little more than three decades ago were in the same Soviet Union, in the same society, in the same „sovok“ (a grotesque name for socialism), now they are as representatives of two civilizations – one from the end of the Old Stone Age; and the other at the beginning of the Postmodern era. One state absolutely does not care how many of its fighters will die and what suffering its war will cause to the civilian population of the enemy; while the another state suffers and worries about each of its killed or seriously wounded soldiers and tries, in spite of everything, to comply at least to some extent with the Hague and Geneva Conventions of International Humanitarian Law.
Unfortunately, once again, the World History testifies that when Quantity and Quality have clashed, Quantity prevailed much more often. The Quantity, analogously, although as a relative value (that is, in comparison with what the adversary has at his disposal – mainly as human resources), by its almost inexhaustible nature, is to a large extent unlimited. And Quality, for its part, cannot be anything but exhaustible, limited, it has a limit of saturation, which cannot be easily raised, nor changed with a push and pressure, for this, long and persistent efforts are necessary, sometimes mobilized with great tension and with high and by no means easy self-discipline.

But I will say again and again – let's believe with our hearts, souls and minds that the glorious Ukrainian people will refute this insanely unfair and infinitely unbearable Historical Truth and that this time Quality will win over Quantity!

■ The third of these conflicts is the conflict between Coercion and Will.

In the dirty war of rashism, everything is built on Coercion.
Coercion dominates everywhere – in crazy and unquestioning orders, and in medieval-like repressions, in bullets in the back when hesitating on the battlefield; in cruel punishments; in judicial threats against the personnel of their marauding hordes. If they could choose, probably, at least 90% of the rashists would not agree to go to war with Ukraine, no matter how much money they were given for it (not that they were given at least partially acceptable amounts so far). The blood of rashist soldiers is inexpensive, and its price after moGilization still falls and continues to fall. Like obscurantists, commanders of all levels rely on the bloodthirsty and ferocious Zhukov-ianism (however, without Zhukov’s commanding qualities), on the brutal barracks ruthlessness, on the ugly disregard for the human dignity of a soldier, on the fear of beatings and – more and more often – on the fear of executions even for the alleged, and not for actual desertion. Huge masses of ordinary rashists do not understand this war, they blindly submit, because they have no other way out, they know that in battles there is no „feeling of the elbow“, i.e. there is no comrade next to you, and everyone is left to himself – to survive as best he can and as long as he can. If it were not for the horror of the merciless measures that will be taken against them, and of the inevitable thickening of black clouds over the heads of their closest relatives and especially over their families, many rashist soldiers would have decided on a desperate act to turn their weapons in the opposite direction. Or at least run away from the battlefield headlong. Their motivation is shockingly low. And if the moGilized soldiers gradually begin to fight better, learn on the go, it is because only in this way can they survive and save their own skin. And some of the higher officer ranks are also more or less gradually beginning to learn the art of war through heavy battles, otherwise nothing good awaits them, they understand this very well. In general, this was also the case during the so-called. of the Great Patriotic War – the warring Soviet units and their commanders learned to fight on the move, in the heat of hostilities, as the elite of generals and officers of the Soviet armed forces were exterminated by the bloodthirsty Stalin or some of them were brutally inquisified during interrogations and sent to primitive and nightmarish concentration camps.

The picture with the Ukrainians is radically different – they have a Will, they have a conscious choice, a conscious decision, a conscious behavior.
Ukrainians are fighting for their Motherland. There are thousands of examples when successful people – in business (even millionaires), in science, in culture, in art, in journalism, in sports - go to the front to fight for Ukraine. Undoubtedly, there is discipline, orders, sanctions in the Ukrainian armed forces. But at the heart of everything they have is precisely the Will to liberate their dear and beloved Ukraine, to drive out the occupiers, and not to allow their country to be brought to its knees or folded into an indecent pose.
In Bulgaria, nationalism has become the last refuge of political adventurers and even obvious scoundrels. The more cynical and vile a politician, for as few yellow and devalued kopecks as possible he sells his soul, the more furiously and fiercely he waves the national flag and swears on the name of Bulgaria. There are a lot of nationalists in our country, it is still a profitable business to show off as a nationalist. But there are few patriots in politics and there are fewer and fewer of them.
What our people and elite should do is look at Ukraine and Ukrainians with wide open eyes and learn from them about patriotism. It is even incredible how in the Third Decade of the Third Millennium of our globalized world, in the world of high genetic, information, communication, medical, industrial and space technologies, we see such a outburst of pure, genuine, selfless and self-sacrificing patriotism among the Ukrainian people!
From a social community of people, each of whom emphasized their ethnicity, their religion, their language, their place of origin, the Ukrainians turned into a Society of one common and united Ukrainian nation. My friends, Russians or at least Russian-speaking residents of Ukraine, have become in a matter of months Citizens of Ukraine, who are proud to be Ukrainians, regardless of ethnicity, religion, language and place of origin!
If we ask the World History again – what does it thinks about the clash of Coercion, imposed by force and fear, and the free and freedom-loving Will generated by consciousness and humanity, then it, History will answer us almost unambiguously and as categorically as possible, that the Will will win as many times before she had defeated the Coercion.
That is why we can sincerely believe with our hearts, souls and minds that the glorious Ukrainian people will prove this indisputably undoubted and uncompromisingly irrevocable Historical Truth and once again Will will defeat Coercion!

■ The fourth of these conflicts is the conflict between Hierarchy and Network.

The villain in the Kremlin has turned the country ruled by him single-handedly into a brutal Hierarchy.
It is not at all strange that the more this Villain secures the transition from authoritarian to totalitarian rule in his silent and intoxicated country, the more the notorious straightening of the vertical of power in this territory, doomed to incredible delusions and illusions, will almost irreversibly pass into a multi-level and ugly hierarchy, at the top of which He stands alone – He, cowardly, and cruel Villain. At the same time, the entire administration, the army, the KGB services and even cultural institutions and universities degenerate into similar multi-level and ugly hierarchies.
These hierarchies, like any other hierarchy, pathologically rely (including for their own preservation) on „sticks“, ignoring the „carrots“. Surveillance, eavesdropping, repressive agencies (including the political police), violence, denunciations – this is what this retrograde and reactionary hierarchies rely on.
In hierarchies, the rule applies – „the subordinate of my subordinate is my subordinate“. Hierarchies hardly react to dynamic changes; in complex, let alone emergency situations, they are strategically blind. In them, the person at the top is inevitably manipulated by those below him because they tell him only what he wants to hear, and thus his decisions are based on fragmented and/or unreliable information. Sooner or later, sooner rather than later, in hierarchies of the type that the Villain in the Kremlin has built, the command of the troops, not only the strategic one, and not even the operational one, but also the tactical one, goes to manual control – from the One at the Top of the Hierarchy. He alone knows what must be done and no one dares contradict him. And when his decision is wrong and the consequences are irreparable, then someone lower in the hierarchy is responsible for this. Either he is punished or even killed.
That is why, especially at the first stage of the so-called the Great Patriotic War, the Soviet peoples paid a bloody price for Stalin's incompetent and sole command.
That is why, to a large extent, the Germans also lost the war catastrophically – due to Hitler's incompetent and too often one-man command.
Rashist warfare, therefore, cannot be anything other than leftover from the 20th century – it is pre-modern, sclerotized, Parkinsonian, Alzheimerian, improvisational, unprofessional, based on complete indifference to its human victims („not by skill, but by numbers“) and with a reckless and criminal emphasis on brute, blind force („strength is, mind is not needed“).
The villain in the Kremlin is a pathological illustration of someone who, because he holds a huge hammer in his hands, sees all problems as nails.

Ukrainians, on the contrary, rely on the Network.
Network structures, network thinking, network laws and regularities, network coordination and interactions are in a leading position in the networked Ukrainian arsenal.
The Ukrainians were the first to fight – on a large scale and from the very beginning of the cynically and dirty war imposed on them – in a network-centric way, i.e. way of warfare in the 21st century.
Ukrainians with thought and reason follow the advices of leading military experts (both armchair theorists and field practitioners), who highlight a number of key elements of modern warfare. This war is becoming more and more network-centric war and more and more chaoplexic (chaoplexity is a combination of the chaos and complexity). This is a highly dynamic and particularly complex, non-traditional, unconventional and non-standard, creative and inventive strategy and tactics of warfare.
An important feature of such warfare in conditions of strong centralization, high coordination, large-scale communication and intensive exchange of information between individual combat units is (for example) a sustained pulsation or swarming, or and more precisely attacking with (as, via) swarm.
The choice of the words swarm, swarming, is not at all accidental, because an analogy is drawn with them with the behavior inherent in bees, wasps, hornets, mosquitoes. Along with carrying out traditional actions, swarms attack swiftly, sting painfully or deadly, and disperse in all directions as quickly as possible. And this is just one small element of modern network-centric warfare.
I dwelled on the characteristics of network-centric warfare here, only to emphasize that here we are talking about a qualitatively new strategy, qualitatively new behavior on the battlefields, qualitatively new military thinking and qualitatively new army culture, from which the rashists are separated by several tens of light years.
And we are talking not only about specific military aspects of Ukrainian actions. And their armed forces, but also the authorities in the country and regions, and the relationship between the ruled and the rulers, and more and more Ukrainian society itself – all this and all of them are acquiring a pronounced network character.
Networks rely on ever-increasing horizontal cooperation, on synergy of efforts and interactions, in which we have not a mechanical (arithmetic) sum (3 + 3 = 6), but a multiplication of goals, priorities, decisions and efforts ( 3 x 3 = 9). This is possible because it is based on common values and, through them, on common interests.
Even in the nightmarishly difficult conditions of the war (and to some extent, perhaps, precisely because of these nightmarishly difficult conditions), Ukrainians for all of us in Europe in general and especially in Bulgaria in particular are a memory of the future, an open book about the modern transformation of the state and citizens in the conditions of the Risk Society. Networks, networking, networking strategies, networking actions – this is what lies ahead for all of us. It is the best answer to multiplying challenges and a tool to manage escalating risks.

And here – for now – it hardly makes sense to ask the World History how it views the confrontation between the Hierarchy and the Network. History still has little experience, scant empirical material, so that it can say with knowledge of the matter who will win this confrontation. But she, History is unconditionally and unhesitatingly on the side of the Network!
That is why the importance of everything that Ukraine and Ukrainians do is so great, extremely huge, literally colossal.
And we must, we are obliged, we are called to believe with all our hearts, souls and minds that the glorious Ukrainian people will write a new chapter of History, proving that the world must accept as an indisputably undoubted and uncompromisingly irrevocable Historical Truth – about the near or somewhat distant, but imminent and inevitable victory of the Network over the Hierarchy.
