The second of them fight with amazing clumsiness and outrageous incompetence and at the same time cruelly lie to him about the course of the war, inventing non-existent victories and hiding heavy defeats.
The third of them systematically misinform him, and he does not have an elementary idea about the processes in Russia, the region, Europe and the world.
The fourth of them with his glorification, that has not happened in Russia since the time of Stalin, isolate him in an absolutely fictitious reality, and he is not capable of any adequate solution.

Qualitatively new challenges and risks, the Covid pandemic, the criminal and cruel war of the rashists against Ukraine, tectonic shifts and upheavals in global, continental, regional and national politics dealt a catastrophic blow not only to the world order, but also to many intellectual-analytical prophets, authorities, gurus and capacities, constantly, constantly, ceaselessly and tirelessly marching, cheering and appearing in all kinds of media: such as the great Henry Kissinger, Joseph Stiglitz, Paul Krugman, John Mearsheimer and a number of others, as well as our Ivan Krastev.

With the naked eye, one can see that Putin is a depressed paranoid. He is in the grip of malignant manias. He lives in a parallel reality. He has a nightmarish fear of the future. He is undoubtedly constantly on strong psychotropic drugs.

is so eager to imitate him, liked by him, think and talk like him, to think and speak like him, that by pragmatically choosing such self-serving behavior, these people have irrevocably turned into a bunch of depressive paranoids. Until recently, they consciously said what Putin wanted to hear. Now they unconsciously believe what he wants to hear from them and are absolutely unable to speak or think about anything else.
