WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF UNCERTAINTY!

The translation was done by the AI.

I have never harbored any illusions about Trump. I have long and consistently written: with him, even the most unexpected is expected; even the most improbable is probable; even the most impossible is possible; even the most unthinkable is thinkable.
Trump is an absurdly dangerous combination of incurable pathological narcissism and irreversible age-related intellectual degradation. These two grotesque impairments are making him increasingly irrational and ever more ill.
Now the world rubs its eyes in disbelief, and what it sees in Trump makes it laugh. Soon, Trump will become a subject of global ridicule—unless something more radical and sudden happens to him. But inevitably, laughter will be followed first by suspicion, and then by the realization that the President of the United States is a deranged lunatic, a textbook cretinoid.
The world is in deep trouble, though it hasn't fully realized it yet.

Without ever deceiving myself about the harm Trump causes, I must admit I am constantly surprised by the insanity of his actions. Yes, he is ill, his illness is incurable—but it is progressing with unimaginable speed.
And yet, the idiocy and the planetary nightmare that Trump's illness brings upon us are, to a significant and not only necessary but sufficient extent, consistent with my logic—more precisely, with my Science of Security.
The first of my four recent scientific books in this field—something like a scholarly testament and a synthesis of my contributions—"On Security"—is soon to be published. It contains an analysis of the key concept: Security.
The second book, "On Risk", is already written and ready. I am awaiting the release of the first to propose it to publishers. It offers an analysis of the key concept: Risk.
I am now working intensively (and racing against Time) on the third book, "On Foresight".
I had considered titling it "On Challenge", but I realized that this concept is not yet a clearly defined and universally recognized notion in the public consciousness.
And I dearly wish to title it "On Uncertainty"—because that is precisely what the book analyzes: the key concept of Uncertainty.
Uncertainty gives rise to challenges. And in order to respond to those challenges meaningfully and avoid turning them into risks—we must be able to foresee!
As a fundamental concept, uncertainty has yet to find a proper place in our academic discourse or public narratives. A testament to this is that the English word uncertainty is almost universally translated into Bulgarian as insecurity. But it is not insecurity! That’s why I habitually translate it jointly—as uncertainty and insecurity.
And why did I begin this post with Trump?
Because Trump most nakedly and shamelessly throws us into the Space and Time of Uncertainty! Into the World of Uncertainty.
As long as something can still be measured—or at least qualitatively assessed—uncertainty (as Frank Knight says) is actually risk, and it can be managed, well or poorly.
But once it becomes impossible to measure or assess, uncertainty is precisely that—true uncertainty.
Now everyone is saying: nothing can be predicted, let alone forecasted, with this Trump!
Well then, welcome to the World of Uncertainty!
A cretinoid is furiously and perversely dragging us into that world. Because he is the President of the United States. Alas…
My third book is precisely about the World of Uncertainty.
Uncertainty gives birth to Challenges.
And to respond to them wisely and effectively—we must Forecast!
