We saw that it could be done effectively. The sky could be closed. It could have had an impenetrable dome.
It turns out that the question is not about being able. The question, then, is one of desire.
Nothing special is asked for Ukraine! Nothing!
No more no less.
Only one thing is required:
And Ukraine should be helped as Israel is helped.
Nothing else different!
Nothing else in particular...
Evil does not act selectively. Evil is Evil to all.
Evil is not answered selectively. Evil is answered by all.
But there are clearly double standards in aid as well.
There are also interests. This - yes.
Why without interests?
They are the universal justification for all hypocrisy and all inaction!
There is also Geopolitics. Where without it?
As my friend says - Geopolitics has always been what eats the head of the Democratic world!
Because the Democratic world ceases to be Democratic when it interferes with the realism and egoism of Geopolitics.
When he entered the discourse of heartlands and rimlands.
When it hides behind the narrative of living spaces, land and sea empires.
Let there be interests. Let there be Geopolitics.
But it doesn't hurt to have morals. And if possible principles. And most of all - an instinct for self-preservation.
Because without morality, without principles, without an instinct for self-preservation, international security is a very simple game. In it, Evil finally wins.
And dark ages ensue...
